The Streaming Giant Chooses Ideal Actor for Bentham in One Piece Upcoming Installment

Baroque Works is geared up to exert significant influence in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the major clash isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a beloved, popular member has just been cast.

The streaming service revealed Tuesday that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will portray Bon Clay. The role possesses the power to change into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve made contact with with their right hand. The performer, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that character re-envisioned as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, as in the original manga and animated series.

This performer is joined by multiple recently announced actors set to bring the group to life, including leader Mr. 0, brought to life by the well-known actor, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who also joins the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.

Even though this character is a important part of the organization, the individual won’t appear until One Piece the upcoming installment. Given season 2 expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this represents a significant shift in the timing of their first appearance, one that could indicate more adjustments to the story’s structure.

The actor’s combination of sharp comedic timing and profound feeling makes them a perfect fit for the part. Along with their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and numerous honors for writing and starring in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s most celebrated roles.

The streaming service’s real-life One Piece program is scheduled to come back for its season two on March 10, 2026.
